WHY ARE YOU LOOKING TO CHANGE YOUR WINDOWS

An important question and a question we always ask,

so our customers get what they want. Here are a few

of the usual and not so usual answers.

 

• They need painting

Who wants to spend their time off every other year

• I want to reduce my - carbon foot print / heating bills

With the awareness of greenhouse gases and following on

from the Kyoto summit residential glazing has had to meet new

standards for heat insulation.These insulation standards are

going to get even more stringent. Such an introduction was

the use of low emissive glass, Pilkington K glass being one of

the best Well known. We are a registered“Energicare”partner

With Pilkington and our standard BFRC window rating is a “B”

rated although we can also supply an“A” rated on request.

 

• I want a different colour

It is possible to have more or less any colour of

window that you want. Not only in PVC-u but perhaps in

Aluminum  Composite materials.Woodgrain foils for PVC-u have

been around for sometime with the favourites being Light Oak

.

 

 

 

and Rosewood and now Black. But perhaps look out for our newly

introduced Through colour Cream PVC-u.

 

• I want a more traditional Georgian window

Many of the replacement windows of yesteryear were very basic

looking and with a Georgian lattice inside the glass.New

techniques mean we are able to supply really good looking

traditional Georgian bars that are on the outside.We can also

supply a complete range of leadwork designs.There are even

PCV-u vertical sliding windows giving the appearance of the

traditional timber windows with all the Benefits of modern glazing.

 

• I want to improve my security

Sadly most of us feel that way, but with our locking mechanisms

it is unlikely that a potential burglar will gain entry. All of our

standard locking mechanisms exceed home office and insurance

Specifications and all of our PVC-u windows are internally glazed,

stopping the glass from being removed from the outside.

 

• I want to keep up with the Jones’s
